While wandering through nature, I often ask God to

show me what He wants to be seen.  Sometimes it's a

hidden flower, sometimes a stunning view. Today it was

this guy.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a figure

across a pond. Expecting a sign or utility box, I looked

through my lens and saw a gorgeous Great Blue Heron.

He stood just off the trail, and even with my dog beside

me, he stayed frozen, as if waiting for me to capture the

moment. After getting many images, I thanked him for his

time and the blessing of allowing me to share what was

meant to be seen.
